For more than a decade, the Chilliwack Community Cupboard has been providing food, clothing, household essentials, and hope to local families facing hardship. What began as a small initiative inside a school has grown into a trusted community resource supporting hundreds of children and families throughout Chilliwack each year. While our organization has grown, our purpose has remained the same: ensuring local families have access to the support they need during difficult times. Every family deserves dignity. Every child deserves opportunity. And no one should have to face hardship alone.
Who We Are
The Chilliwack Community Cupboard is a volunteer-driven registered charity dedicated to supporting families with children under the age of 19 who are experiencing financial hardship or challenging life circumstances. Founded in 2013, our organization was built on a simple belief: no child should go without life's basic necessities, and no family should have to face hardship alone. Every week, families throughout our community access food, clothing, household essentials, personal care items, books, toys, and other resources that help create greater stability at home. We believe asking for help should never come with judgment. We believe every family deserves to feel welcomed and respected. We believe strong communities are built when neighbours help neighbours.
